Terms & conditions

Updated 24 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-24.v1

Veda helps you research, prepare and explore relevant connections. You stay in control of introductions, document sharing and any paid engagement.

Review these terms and the privacy notice, then return to your WhatsApp conversation and reply I Accept. Opening this page does not record acceptance.

1. Who these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of the Samaveda Capital website and Veda, Samaveda Capital’s AI assistant, including conversations on WhatsApp and supported web channels. In these terms, ‘we’ means Samaveda Capital and ‘you’ means the person using the service.

The service is for business users aged 18 or over. If you act for a company, fund or another person, you must have authority to provide their information and give any instructions on their behalf. A separate signed engagement letter or agreement governs any separate paid engagement and takes priority where it conflicts with these general terms.

2. Simple onboarding and acceptance

Veda asks for your email, sends a six-digit verification code, links to these terms, and asks you to reply ‘I Accept’. After acceptance, you choose whether you are here as a founder or an investor. We record the terms version, your acceptance time and the associated message.

Email verification confirms access to that mailbox. It does not verify your legal identity, professional status, company ownership, accreditation or authority to invest. Keep verification codes private and tell us if you suspect someone is using your details.

Providing an email requests a verification message, not marketing. You can decline these terms by not accepting and stop onboarding. Existing users may continue in their existing conversation; we do not treat previous messages as acceptance of this version.

3. What Veda does

Veda can help organise information, review materials, prepare provisional assessments and drafts, research opportunities, and support founder–investor conversations. Available features depend on the information you provide, connected services and any separately agreed scope.

Veda is an AI system. Its responses can be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. Check material facts, calculations, sources, eligibility requirements and deadlines before relying on an answer. An assessment, score, shortlist or suggested match is not an endorsement, verified due diligence or a commitment from a counterparty.

Using Veda alone does not appoint us as your investment adviser, lawyer, tax adviser, broker, fiduciary or authorised representative. Obtain appropriate independent professional advice before making an investment, financing, legal or tax decision. We do not guarantee funding, investment returns, grant awards, introductions, meetings or transaction completion.

4. You control external actions

Accepting these terms does not, by itself, authorise investor outreach, a named introduction, disclosure of your deck or contact details, grant submission, a meeting booking, or acceptance of a commercial offer on your behalf. Those actions require the applicable separate instruction, review and permission.

Where an introduction needs permission from both sides, each side must approve. Silence, an email verification, a role selection or an assessment request is not introduction consent. You can refuse a suggested connection or ask to stop follow-ups.

Anonymised descriptions may still be sensitive. Do not assume removing a name makes all information safe to share. Let us know about confidentiality limits before requesting any external sharing; a separate NDA or engagement agreement remains applicable.

5. Your information and materials

Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, distinguish estimates from confirmed facts, and correct material errors when you find them. Upload only materials you are entitled to use and share. Do not send passwords, banking PINs, payment-card security codes or unnecessary sensitive personal information.

You retain your rights in your materials. You give us permission to store, process and use them as needed to provide the services you request, operate and protect the service, and meet applicable obligations, as described in the privacy notice. This is not ownership of your materials or blanket permission to publish them.

You must not use the service for fraud, unlawful solicitation, impersonation, harassment, unauthorised disclosure, security attacks or infringement of another person’s rights.

6. Fees and separate engagements

Accepting these terms does not create a retainer, success fee, exclusivity obligation or payment authorisation. Any paid service, fee, refund or cancellation terms must be disclosed and agreed separately before that paid engagement begins.

These terms do not replace payment terms already agreed in a valid separate contract. Statutory rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded continue to apply.

7. Privacy and communications

Our privacy notice explains the information we process, why we use it, the providers involved and how to request access, correction, restriction or deletion. Read it alongside these terms.

WhatsApp and email delivery depend on third-party providers. A message may be delayed or fail, and a send confirmation is not a guarantee of inbox delivery. Do not use Veda as the sole channel for an urgent deadline or time-critical instruction.

On WhatsApp, send PRIVACY for the privacy notice, STOP to stop WhatsApp messaging, or DELETE to request erasure through the channel’s controls. You can also contact team@samavedacapital.com. Stopping messages and deleting information are different requests; necessary legal, security or consent records may have to be retained.

8. Availability and suspension

We may maintain, change or discontinue features, and may restrict access where needed to address misuse, security risks or legal obligations. We will provide notice when reasonably practicable. Save copies of important documents and decisions outside the chat.

Third-party websites, funders and counterparties have their own terms and make their own decisions. We do not control their content, availability or actions.

9. Responsibility and liability

We aim to provide a useful service with reasonable care, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free AI outputs or a particular business outcome. You remain responsible for your decisions and for checking information before acting on it.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Any separately agreed limitation of liability for a paid engagement is governed by that engagement agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes to these terms

This version is dated 24 September 2026. We will identify later versions and notify users of material changes where appropriate. Where renewed acceptance is needed, we will request it. A later version does not rewrite the version recorded for an earlier acceptance.

A dated copy of this version is available through the version link on this page.

11. Applicable law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory protections or jurisdiction rules that apply to you. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern.
